Jesse McCartney - It's Over
The second video from JMac's Departure era manages to be sleek, modern, and futuristic all at once. The special effects are cool and clean. The song took some getting used to for me, but now I like it.
Did anyone else notice that the girl in the video is named Kacie, and Jesse's real life ex is named Katie? Just me? Don't you love how I'm so involved in the lives of Young Hollywood, lol. (Plus 5 for "Kacie" wearing a sweater similar to mine from H&M.)
Rihanna & Justin Timberlake - Rehab
As my friend C would say, "Oh hot damn!" As if the desert didn't need to get any hotter, Rihanna and JT brought the temperature up a couple degrees. They have amazing chemistry in the video. Not surprisingly, JT taking a turn as a video boy works. He's very model-like and those looks he gives Rihanna are so scorching they make you melt. Doesn't he make you want to switch places with Rihanna Freaky Friday-style and never switch back? I hope there's Rehab Part 2 just so I can see these two back together again.
Although I love my Westchester boy Jesse, I have to go with JT on this one. He's just brilliant and I love the look of him with Rihanna. Plus, he has that whole model thing going on, which isn't surprising after seeing his work in the current William Rast campaign (and his role in Model Behavior for you old school JT fans).
