Rock the Vote!

In a little under 6 hours the polls will open. Wearing my own Rock the Vote shirt, I will be stepping into a voting booth early in the morning because I have class at 9. I've done my research and I know who I'm voting for. Do you? (Here's a hint :: Barack the Vote!)

Yahoo! Answers Does Work After All

The Dilemma: I'm a registered Democrat and I'm voting for Obama, but I wanted to vote for the Republican candidate from Westchester who's running for the NY Senate. My mom told me that I can only vote for the Democrats because I'm voting for Obama. That didn't sound too right to me so I posted this question on Yahoo! Answers.

The Solution: I got great feedback from users within seconds. I posted my question 30 minutes ago, and I already have 25 responses. That's awesome. It turns out that I can vote for whichever party I choose. I just need to make sure that I don't choose straight party ballot. Thanks Yahoo! Answers; you rock!

Are You Registered?

I found more things to post, and yes, they are more important than my impending relationship with Shia LaBeouf. (Hard to believe right? lol)

I know in some states you can't register to vote anymore, but if you are still able to, make sure you do. The upcoming election will be here in a few short weeks and it's a major one that could change the course of history.
